BRAND: Revlon
PRODUCT: Photoready Airbrush Effect makeup
PRICE: £9.99 Boots
OK, so I bought this foundation on a bit of a whim. I saw the words ‘new’, ‘airbrush’ and ‘poreless’ and threw it straight into my shopping basket.
The promise…
Revolutionary formula with Light-Filtering Technology delivers a poreless, airbrushed look. Soft-focus pigments create a luminous finish. Your skin has never looked so flawless. [www.revlon.com]
For me, the reality was not so good. The medium-full coverage was OK on my cheeks but I really did not like the consistency. It was dry and hard to work with. Immediately I noticed the makeup was sticking to my dry patches and left me with an uneven and patchy complexion. I gave it another try, this time using double the moisture beforehand applying serum oil and a moisturiser. However, I still had the same effect. I do have combination dry skin; however I don’t usually have this problem.
To sum up my experience with this product – I gave it away after two days.
